I was having a clear-out of my wardrobe about a year ago and to my horror I suddenly realised that I had an awful lot of checked Plaid shirts, so I stopped wearing them for a while, I just had a mental block about them, thinking that I had become some guy that was conforming to some kind of cookie cutter sameness. But when I saw this cool looking guy with this zipped plaid top I breathed a sigh of relief and think I may well be able to wear the plaid again with pride.

Gustav is wearing a trench coat and silk scarf once owned by his grandfather. The coat is made by the heritage Swedish brand Nobel. Gustav decided to team the coat up with pants and belt from H&M, with Cos shoes, for a truly contemporary take on a classic look.
