Rebecca says,”My style is inspired by music, films, other bloggers and models off-duty… I really love Audrey Hepburn and Alexa Chung’s style. Rebecca runs a quirky fun blog of her own called Painting The Roses Black.

Bobby is a junior men’s designer for Vivienne Westwood and describes his “second hand clothes finds”, as sensible pop. Coincidently while I was shooting these pictures there was also a small video crew shooting a new viral for Vivienne Westwood.

Natalia says, “I like to dress edgy, formal and understated, but still emphasising my body shape, especially my legs”… “I am a print designer and like to mix plain with print.”

Fashion designer Yuan says. “i am very interested in vintage but I rarely find something I like in my size.”..”But I do collect a lot of vintage dresses”. Yuan is wearing a vintage inspired blouse by Topshop and a pair of wool trousers by French Connection from a few seasons ago.

I was searching through my archive recently and noticed these two lovely girls in their maxi dresses. Now, those who follow my blog will notice the almost complete absence of the maxi dress. But Tara, who I photographed in Manchester last summer for Grazia UK  ❨Top post❩ and Gosia,­­­­­ ­‒ photographed in London last summer ‒ seemed to capture the very essence and spirit of the English summer, as it slowly draws to a close for another year…

Ailara is wearing a a woollen tunic jacket made by a friend of her mothers in Kazakhstan.Ailara chose the yarn and length of the tunic.

Shin is wearing a shirt dress from Hong Kong, the tights were bought in Taiwan, but are from the UK and those strappy Italian shoes were a Brick lane find. Shin says “My look is part Alice In Wonderland - with a bit of punk thrown in”.

Amee is wearing her Grandmothers 1960s stole and the jacket is a 1940s. It was found in a factory during a ‘dead stock’ sale. It had never been worn and Amee was thrilled to get it as a birthday present from a friend. I love the embroidery, colourful buttons and detail on the jacket. The contemporary skirt is by Olga de Polga and holds the whole look together nicely.

Multi-talented “Turntable goddesses” Amber and Nisha, told me that they usually dress the same when they DJ. Amber says her look is inspired by Charlie Chaplin.
