Ailara is wearing a a woollen tunic jacket made by a friend of her mothers in Kazakhstan.Ailara chose the yarn and length of the tunic.

I loved stylist Mary-Anna’s look. I particularly liked the structure of Mary’s vintage jacket, it works so well with her Donna Karan skirt and her cool-cat hat.

Freshly graduated from reading literature at Cambridge University, Lorenzo was stepping out in search of a job, when I spied him on Oxford Circus. Lorenzo was wearing Zara jeans, Alfred Sargent shoes and jacket, a banana republic tie, shirt Reiss, with a smart pocket square by Vineyard Vines. Laurenzo managed to get the  satchel on ebay, nicely finishing off his rather cool, preppy style.

Alex is wearing Topshop shorts, a Jacket by Karen Millen and a scarf she picked up in India. Alex’s look has a smart and simple appeal.

Anna was visiting London from Sweden with her Father and was wearing all Topshop except for her tights and skirt, which were from H&M. The subdued tones of Ann’s clothes seemed to match her completion and hair colour nicely.

I met Henry in Mayfair as he was on the way to buy shaving kit from his favourite shop. Henry said he he had just thrown on the clothes before leaving the house. I liked the surprising combinations that can happen when in these situations. Henry was wearing Diesel jeans, Ralph lauren shirt, button down regent fit. and a jacket by bespoke Mayfair and Northumberland tailor, John Blades. Henry is also wearing a nice pair of Loakes, Brown leather brogues.

This is Aaron. He works for - and wears - fabulous Ozwald Boateng. I love the subtle hues of purples and blues and the vibrancy it creates on the eye… especially with the mustard yellow flash from the lining of Aaron’s jacket.

Fashion journalist Helena - whom I met in Notting Hill -  is someone who really can wear high-street stylishly and with a touch of class. She was wearing a Primark dress with a blazer from Zara, bag by Cupcake (American) and shoes from a boutique in London.

There’s more than a hint of summer in Roya’s outfit - with her oversize PPQ tee, H&M crop tartan jacket and that straw boater hat.

I came across this urban fashion photo-shoot in Hoxton - as you do. The photographer is out of picture to the left side and I was passing on my bicycle, saw a magic street moment and snapped and cycled off. Very cheeky!

I met Kelsea in Covent Garden. She is from Michigan. Her skinny yellow jeans are by Rue 21 and jacket by forever 21.

Chris Kelly is a fashion designer with his own label - Theatre De La Mode. He wears a striking red puffer jacket (bought in a thrift store), Cheap Monday skinny blue jeans, Kurt Geiger trainers, Marion Protrofsky bag and a piece of an old jersey as a neck scarf - all topped off with an H&M cap. Chris whizzed past me on his pushbike and I decided to give chase - weaving precariously through morning rush hour traffic to catch him. Taking the photos by this Dalston scooter shop - with perhaps a little serendipity and a bit of luck - seemed like the perfect spot.

Chris’s collection is appearing at London Fashion Week in February 2009.
