After graduating at Central St Martins Elizabeth worked as design assistant at Balenciaga, also a stint as print Art worker at Jonathan Saunders and print design assistant at Eley Kishimoto. When I spoke to the extremely glamourous and tremendously talented quirky british shoe designer Charlotte Olympia, I mentioned that she ❨Charlotte❩ reminded me of a character out of Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. To my surprise Charlotte told me she had just finished reading the book. I can’t wait  to see the movie remake by Baz luhrmann, shot in 3D and scheduled for release sometime in 2012. The Great Gatsby was certainly a zeitgeist for the times, and perhaps will be again…
