Jillian told me that she picked up this beautiful summery dress in a vintage store in Australia. The bag is by Ralph Lauren and the biker boots are by Urban Outfitters.

“A mixture of punk and smart”, is how Music Photographer Socrates describes his look. Socrates goes on to say,” I am a New Yorker and I guess 70’s NYC New Wave is part of my DNA”. Socarates looks like he could have just walked out of the CBGB’s New York New Wave club, circa 1977. I am loving the crudely cut-off sleeves on Socrates rather smart Robert Cary-Williams coat, a nice reference to punk style.

I’m loving this simple summer look from Cristina, with her Topshop shirt pants and clogs.Cristna has accessorized with a cool straw boater, Miu Miu bag, and vintage sunglasses. When I asked Cristina about her style, she said, “I look at blogs and what’s around me all the time… I don’t have a single style, but I do like shapes”.

I photographed Frida once before and I really like her quirky fun style. Frida is wearing a pair of Brothel Creepers, Wolford tights, vintage jacket and the dress is by Monki. Frida says she calls her style ‘Lazer Laze’. Frida goes on to say, “I came up with this phrase, it’s kind of geeky but still romantic”. Apart from the tartan on tartan look, I also love the pop of colour from Frida’s bubblegum pink, print bag. You can also check out Frida’s blog for more about her and her tastes on fashion.

I bumped into celebrity Chef Gizzi Erskine outside Shoreditch House and I couldn’t help but notice Gizzis 60s bouffant, and punky look. Gizzi has a new show on Channel 4 called Cook Yourself Thin. Gizzi says “It’s a modern take on classic dishes, I’ve just rock and rolled them up a bit.” Gizzi is a self confessed Rockabilly, Psychobilly and 60s freak - Gizzi describes her style as “60s meets punk”. Gizzi is wearing a vintage tartan dress teamed with a Missoni jacket and a fine pair of Russell And Bromley brogues.
