The Nutcracker Sweet (AFW)

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

Designer Georgia Nash based her collection on characters from the Nutcracker Suite. I love the dazzling  embellishment that her outfits create, along with the lush richness of the fabrics. Georgia’s outfits are both sexy and sophisticated. To be honest I was seeing a Tudor element in the clothes with the puffed-up and ruffled collar, until I discovered the Nutcracker connection, but Hey, what do I know?

Post Modern

I love these two individual and stylish looking men, showing a great casual cool approach to being smart.

The Stylist

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

I loved stylist Mary-Anna’s look. I particularly liked the structure of Mary’s vintage jacket, it works so well with her Donna Karan skirt and her cool-cat hat.

The Make-Up Artist

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

Make-up Artist Julia was with friends when I stopped her. I couldn’t help thinking that Julia was channelling the spirit of Amelia Earhart. Julia was wearing Armani shoes, a Topshop fur trim jacket, vintage glasses and fierce-looking Alexander McQueen bag.

T4 presenter Jameela, looking fine in a pair of Russell & Bromley boots, with a fabulous Ainware jumper and Topshop dress.

Gothic Glam

Saturday, November 21st, 2009

I love Annabelle’s twist of Gothic Glam, with her zebra pattern shoes by Ashish, Dress by Swedish brand Weekday, a vintage leather jacket, with bag by Vivenne Westwood and Topshop belt. I  photographed Annabelle as part of a series for Metro Newspapers International. The photos will be appearing on line on the Kenya Hunt Style Blog and in print, over the next few weeks, so check em out!

Fur-ocious

Sunday, November 8th, 2009

Arwens hair and the vintage fur she is wearing, make a beautiful match.

The Graduate

Sunday, November 8th, 2009

Freshly graduated from reading literature at Cambridge University, Lorenzo was stepping out in search of a job, when I spied him on Oxford Circus. Lorenzo was wearing Zara jeans, Alfred Sargent shoes and jacket, a banana republic tie, shirt Reiss, with a smart pocket square by Vineyard Vines. Laurenzo managed to get the  satchel on ebay, nicely finishing off his rather cool, preppy style.

Solid Geometry

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

Amelia says her approach to dressing is simple, “I don’t buy many clothes - but I like to recycle”. Amelia is wearing a vintage cardigan, with an H&M summer linen blazer, teamed with American Apparel top, Luella leggings, vintage hat, and Bronx boots. Amelia also uses the one-piece rule to great effect with a bright orange Louis Vuitton bag - adding a touch of colour to her otherwise muted ensemble.
