Graphic designer and actor Christos, has a  hat that is from Lock St James of London, the coat is a 10 button 1940′s navy pea-coat (quite rare). The jeans are Levis 501 xx, teamed with a French Navy sweater and the shoes are Redwing.

Christos says “My absolute favourite trend is mid 20th century, – like the 40′s or 50′s. I take my inspiration from the film stars of the 1940′s and 50′s – they were great role models and I loved their masculinity. My least favourite trend is 80′s high street fashion and large people trying to squeezing into skinny jeans.”

Military Precision

Monday, February 1st, 2010

Topman stylist Brett is wearing a Polish quilted military jacket, Burlington socks, vintage shoes and Topman – limited trousers. What a great jacket! I love it, especially with the zip-up neck and oversized breast pocket. It looks so utilitarian and urban, – originally designed to carry an ordinance survey map. I’m also digging the way Brett is working the tans. – Great tones!

London – Urban Turban

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

I haven’t seen heals like these on a man since the 1970′s. I love the pale blue of the turban against the trench.
