London – Spring Fair

Friday, April 16th, 2010

Eveline said she followed my blog and that I made her day when I stopped her and took her photo. I love it when these things happen, it inspires me to shoot more photos. Even more of a coincidence was the fact that Eveline was studying English in London and was on her way for some work experience at a photo agency. Eveline told me, ” I don’t understand why more people don’t wear hats, because, what I am wearing would be less interesting without a hat”. Well as the saying goes, “if the hat fits, then wear it”.

This is the second time I photographed Andy during Paris Fashion Week. Andy’s a true original and I think her personal style reflects that. Andy says’… “my personal style is constantly changing…I love wearing a little bit of eccentricity in my outfits and adding a touch of myself by customizing pieces nobody else has”. Andy is wearing Military style Jacket, DIY (Customized it by herself). Also wearing a Grey skirt  jersey and shoes by Zara. Gloves by Inwear, Sunglasses, Dolce Gabbana and the Bag is Yaz Pari. Andy has a fun blog called http://www.stylescrapbook.com/ and was recently featured in French Vogue. So check it out.

London – Floral Flair

Saturday, April 3rd, 2010

Amanda describes herself as an Artist, Designer, Student. I certainly love Amanda’s eclectic mix and take on the floral trend, teamed with her blue and white checked jacket. Amanda’s fashion motto is, “Be eccentric, be individual, but more importantly enjoy fashion” I can see Amanda certainly does that.

London – Natural Woman

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

Janet has recently finished her masters in law, and had just got her hair cut, when I caught sight of her on Oxford street. I immediately loved her playful ensemble, of jumper dress from Paris, Italian shoes from the Woolworth road, and the jacket from MK One.

London – Mash And Mix

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

I think fashion students Anita and Gemma capture the London vintage look so well. Everything they are wearing is vintage, except Anita’s Ecco shoes, (on the left) . I especially love Anita’s Art-Deco style bag, and the overall mix of tones and splashes of colour that the girls have put together.
